As young children, Larry and his siblings were introduced to art by their architect father. Larry recalls discovering "line drawings" when he was in 4th grade and has had a love for these drawings ever since...When asked to describe art, Larry said, "It's interesting." He sees art as a game of constant problem solving. Alongside the line drawings, Larry enjoys working with color- whether it be in mandala books or matching/not matching colors in his own work. He makes an effort to let each color live in their own space-never allowing two colors that are similar to be by one another. He also tries to never have any white space in his work in regard to color. He wants to let everyone know that he has never had any formal teaching when it comes to color & design but contributes his eye for these things to an innateness.
