A LITTLE ABOUT ME….
My name is Kelly Larson. I am 59 years old, a mother of 4, and a proud gramma of 5☺ (so far!) I have been creating art, fiber arts, and mixed media works for all of my life really, but as a career for about 25 years. I have been teaching sewing and other fiber arts, in my studio, for approx. 12 years. I am also the Creative Director of Living Arts Studio which is a community art space, serving people with and without disabilities. At Living Arts, we host an Open Studio Program, 3 days per week for adults with disabilities, as well as offer classes and workshops for all abilities. I have been doing this type of work for 13 years. I do have a college degree in Special Education and Sociology, but always knew I would somehow combine my love of art and craft, to my service to people with disabilities. Which, to my delight, has indeed occurred☺. It is my joy to also teach children the wonderful art of sewing and fiber arts. I do hope I get to spend time with your children this summer!
